Vivo the Chinese phone maker has this month announced the launch of a new smartphones to their range on the form of the Vivo Xplay, which is equipped with a 5.7 inch full HD screen offering a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.
The Vivo Xplay Android smartphone runs Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, supported by a OPA2604 amplifier to boost the phone’s audio performance.
Other features of the Vivo Xplay smartphone include a 5 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 13 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs, together with a 3400mAh battery.
The Vivo XPlay supports GSM and WCDMA 2100 networks, and currently doesn’t support 3G networks in the US. However it should function on supported networks in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, among other places.
