Back in March, the scuttlebutt was that Verizon would be launching LTE handsets next summer in preparation for LTE networks expected in early 2011. BGR reports that a tip has come in claiming that Verizon is set to launch LTE much earlier than anticipated.
According to the rumor, Verizon will launch LTE networks in 25 markets on November 15. Handsets to take advantage of the LTE speed will be rolled out on November 26, otherwise known as Black Friday.
According to the tipster, Verizon will not charge a premium for 4G access, unlike Sprint. The LTE data plans will be tiered though. Good news!
