Updated 10th March 2016
Verizon has confirmed that Samsung Pay will be available on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at launch on the 11th of March.
Samsung recently launch their new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones, both handsets are supposed to come with Samsung’s mobile payment system, Samsung Pay.
Verizon Wireless supported Samsung Pay on the Galaxy S6 last year, although it was one of the last carriers to get the service and now it looks like it is not supporting Samsung Pay on the new devices.
According to a recent report, neither the Samsung Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge support Samsung Pay on Verizon Wireless.
The news was posted on Reddit and it looks like Verizon has removed the Samsung Pay app from the handsets. As yet there are no details on why Verizon has done this, if the company already supported it on the S6, then you would think they would support the payment service on the new devices.
