Bungie the creator and developer of the new Destiny blockbuster space game which is now available to play on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS3 and Xbox 360, have today announced two new Destiny Public Events that will be taking place very shortly.
A Destiny Public Event is a type of multiplayer match, during which several players within the same area combine forces to achieve a common goal. Destiny Public Events may occur while on patrol or within strike missions.
The first Destiny Public Event is dated for September 19th – 21st and is called Combined Arms, with a follow-up called The Queen’s Wrath taking place from September 23rd to October 6th 2014. Bungie explains a little more:
“There should always be something new to experience every time you play Destiny. To give you new reasons to bring the fight to our enemies – and to each other – we’ve loaded our cannons with some more special events. Some of them will recur regularly. Others will happen when you least expect them.
There are many ways to forge your legend. Return to the wild. Return to the Crucible. Defeat your enemies and reap the rewards. We’ll be here to watch your career with great interest, and keep your head in the game.”
