Toshiba has announced this week that next week consumers and businesses will be able to purchase their new tablet convertible laptop in the form of the Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 which will be available to purchase from October 26th next week for $330.
The Satellite Radius 11 convertible laptop is powered by a Intel Celeron or Pentium processor supported by up to 4GB of RAM and features options for either 32GB of flash storage or a 500GB hard drive.
“Mobility means different things to different people, and Toshiba’s new Satellite Radius 11 and CL10-B reflect that,” says Sandor van der Ham, Vice President, B2C PC, Lifestyle Products & Services Group, Toshiba Europe GmbH. “In developing these adaptable Windows 8.1 devices, we’ve created an affordable range that offers the flexibility and freedom to do whatever you want to do, wherever you are without the need to compromise on design, performance or innovation. It’s mobility, just as the individual chooses it.”
Toshiba has also fitted the new portable system with a front facing HD webcam and pre-loaded Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 operating system that can be used in all five of the modes : laptop, tablet, tabletop, presentation, and audience.
The Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 is also fitted with an 11.6 inch display offering users a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a 360 degree hinge. Together with ports for USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 and a handy SD card slot for further storage expansion as well as a HDMI port.
