Toshiba has announced the launch of a new 3D notebook, the Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL which according to Toshiba is the world’s first notebook that lets you view 3D content stored on Blu-rays.
The Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL features a 15.6 inch LED display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, and is powered by a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7 740QM processor.
Other specifications on the Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL include 4GB of RAM with the option to upgrade to 8GB, a 640GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 350M graphics, a Blu-ray burner, and a pair of built in Harmon Kardon stereo speakers.
The Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL also feature Integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, plus Ethernet, one HDMI port, a 3.3 megapixel web camera and comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
The Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL will be available in Japan later this month for $2,750 and the price includes a pair of 3D shutter glasses and a remote control. There are no details on when we are likely to see the Toshiba Dynabook TX/98MBL in the US and Europe and also no details on pricing.
