At the CES 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week Toshiba has unveiled a new Toshiba 5-in-1 PC concept it has developed that provides users with a notebook, tablet, canvas mode, presentation mode and convertible tablet.
Toshiba have designed a new 5-in-1 PC to provide a variety of different options for users to use enabling it to perform the tasks of a desktop PC or quickly transforming into a tablet or notebook when required. Unfortunately at the current time the 5-in-1 PC concept is purely a development tool and the company has stated that they have no information has yet on if and when it will ever make the jump from concept to production.
Showcasing the system at this year’s CES 2014 technology event will provide Toshiba with valuable feedback on whether the 5-in-1 PC concept is worth pursuing and viable to push towards a consumer release.
As more information becomes available over the coming months as to whether Toshiba will actually take up the challenge and transform their 5-in-1 PC concept into a production device, we will keep you updated as always.
