If you’re an avid photographer or videographer you may be on the lookout for a way to add more stability to you or photography and video recording endeavors. A new camera stabilizer has turned up on crowd funding site Indiegogo called the Tooga. The device is a hand held camera stabilizer designed to flow through the air while recording video or taking photos.
The camera mounts to the stabilizer using a large rubber mounting pad that has connection ports around the outside diameter. The curved arm comes off that camera mounting pad and features stackable counterweights to perfectly balance the camera in your hand. The hand grip also has a smooth thumb steering wheel allowing you to easily rotate the camera for precision recording.
The support arm that holds the stackable counterweights is also bendable for comfort and perfect angle. The Tooga also ships with a bubble level so you can tell when you’re holding the camera perfectly level. The project is seeking $30,000 and has 40 days to go. So far it has raised $1610 and the mount can be used with video cameras, DSLR cameras, GoPro cameras, and even smartphones. The early bird special will cost you $170.
