SEMA 2015 is almost here and Hyundai has shown off the latest car that will be unveiled official at the show. This car is the Tjin Edition Hyundai Genesis and it makes 500hp from its supercharged 3.8L V6 engine. The boost comes from a Vortech supercharger with front mount intercooler.
Bisimoto Engineering provided the tune for the car along with the exhaust system. A Vortech blow-off valve and Optima battery round out the mods under the hood. It’s unclear exactly how much more than 500hp the car makes, but we should get that detail when the show kicks off. Tjin also fitted the car with KW coilovers, Baer brakes, and Rotiform 19-inch 3-piece HUR wheels.
Those wheels are shod with Falken FK453 tires. The car has a custom Axalta green paintjob and a Unique Fabrication front lip, metal trunk lid, and rear wing. Custom headlights and LED lighting round out the exterior mods. Inside the car is a Unique Fabrication roll cage and custom Alea leather interior. The car was inspired by underground racing and looks like it might do ok at a racetrack. SEMA kicks off November 3 and all the details on Hyundai’s custom cars will be offered then.
