There are plenty of folding bikes available to purchase around the world and some of them are even equipped with extra power in the form of electric folding bikes.
However if you are looking for something a little more rugged that is capable of being used on a variety of different trains including snow and soft mud then the range suddenly becomes very limited.
However a new electric folding bike called the Fat Bad hopes to fill this area and provides extra large cushion tyres together with an electric motor in the form of either a in 36V/250-watt and 48V/500-watt levels.
Equipped with an aluminium alloy frame the Fat Bad electric folding bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, reinforced Altus drivetrain rims, as well as 7-speed Shimano gears together with optional LED lighting.
The Fat Bad is now available for preorder via the official Bad Bike online store and the 250-watt base model is priced at €1,598 roughly $1,775, while the 500-watt Fat Bad R is priced at €1,998 or roughly $2,220.
