BenQ has released details of a new widescreen LCD monitor, which they are claiming is the World’s thinnest widescreen LCD monitor.
The BenQ V2400W is a 24 inch widescreen LCD monitor, which measures just 2.44 inches at its thickest point.
As well as being extremely thin the V2400W features a dynamic contrast ratio of 4000:1, and full 1080p HD support.
“The V2400W is inspired by the B2 stealth bomber, evoking a sense of mystery, awe and the elite” said Manfred Wang, Director of the BenQ Lifestyle Design Center.
“In addition, the displays asymmetry exemplifies our new design philosophy,” continued Wang. “One is captivated by its suspended energy, expecting the screen to tilt. But it stands still, as if time were frozen and the movement paused.”
The V2400W features a resolution of 1920 x1200, and measures 563.8×369.4×191.7 (HxWxD mm, and weighs 6.7 KG.The BenQ V2400W will go on sale in the US and Europe in April, no word on pricing as yet.
