Tesla has announced that it is expanding its supercharger network in the UK, the company has added six new locations to its supercharger network, and also has plans for more locations.
Tesla has launched three new superchargers in London at Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge and Westfield White City, plus one in Reading, Bristol and Edinburgh.
“We are working on additional London locations with new sites to be announced shortly,” said Georg Ell, Tesla’s country director for the UK and Ireland. “Our plan for routes around the UK is also under way and we now have four locations outside of the capital.”
Tesla have said that withing the next 6 months, Tesla owners will be able to drive the full length of the UK, charging their vehicles on the companies superchargers.
They also announced that they have opened their fourth Tesla store in the UK in Birmingham, and the company also plans to open retail stores in Manchester, Bristol, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
