The NHTSA has delivered their final report and closed their investigation into an accident back in may which killed the driver using Tesla’s autopilot.
The report says that Tesla’s Autopilot feature was not at fault during the accident and more details have been revealed on crash rates.

Tesla provided data to the investigators relating to crash rates and it turns out that Tesla’s Autopilot feature actually reduces crashes by a massive 40%, that is pretty significant.
The NHTSA also confirmed that Tesla is not under any other active investigations after the recent one was closed.
