It doesn’t really matter how much you love your pet or how much your pet loves your family, sometimes pets get lost. Someone could leave the gate open and your dog might wander off or maybe they dig out. No matter how your pet gets lost, pet owners always like to get their furry friends back. Verizon Wireless is now offering a new pet tracking system in its stores called the Tagg Pet Tracker.
The device is designed to fit on the pet’s collar and the owner can tell the device where their pet should be. If the pet leaves that predefined area, the owner can receive text messages and e-mails notifying them that their pet is making an escape. Once the pet owner is aware that the pet is outside of the zone it’s supposed to be in, they can pinpoint the pet’s location using a computer or mobile device such as a smartphone.
The device is able to track pet’s location using advanced GPS and built-in wireless technology. The Tagg master kit includes the tracker and the first three months of service. After those first three months of service, each additional month costs $7.95 with unlimited alert notifications. The device can also be used to track the activity level of your pet to ensure they’re getting enough exercise. The Tagg Pet Tracker is available now for $99.99.
