It seems that most of the time the US and other countries are left out when it comes to limited edition cars from Japanese brands. Subaru has announced that it will launch a limited edition model in Japan only on December 1, 2015 that will be based on the WRX STI. The car is called the WRX STI S207 and it gets exclusive engine and suspension tuning.
Only 400 S207 models will be made. The special tuning boosts power to 328PS and handling is improved with a faster 11:1 steering ratio, flexible tower bar, DampMatic II front suspension with adjustable damping, and a front-rear active torque vectoring system. The car gets 6-piston Bembo brakes in the front and four piston units in the rear.
Recaro seats and custom instruments are offered inside the car. A special NBR Challenge Package will also be offered with only 200 being made with a dry carbon rear spoiler and special badges celebrating Subaru’s victory in the SP3T class in the 2015 Nurburgring 24-Hour Race. S207 unit will be offered in WR Blue Pearl, Crystal White Pearl, and Crystal Black Silica. The NBR challenge package is sunrise yellow.
