If you have ideas for home automation or Internet of Things projects, but have been stumbling on combining the correct technologies, code and security to build your idea. You may be interested in a new Raspberry Pi Internet of Things baseboard called the Strawberry4Pi. Developed and created by Pirri based in London the board allows you to easily control any electrical device using a Raspberry Pi Zero W and companion smartphone application. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Strawberry4Pi and its features.
“We wanted to develop a complete solution that will make more easy managing electrical devices, not only for advanced users but also for beginner ones. To achieve this, we have worked very hard to simplify to the maximum the configuration processes, reducing it to 2 or 3 easy steps, and creating an user friendly app, powerful and secure, that allows collaboration with other users and share the management of personal services.
The biggest challenge of this project was to create a super secure environment that ensures the privacy of our users. To do that we’ve developed dynamically encrypted protocols for each device and, of course, a secure connection to the app.
We are ready to integrate our product with other big retail brands services, that will ensure that any user is able and willing to include Strawberry4Pi on their IoT device map. For this reason in this phase, we would like to achieve the extra bonus of voice Control with Google Home and Custom API.”
