US mobile carrier Sprint has announced that they have sold over 1 million LTE enabled devices on their 4G LTE network in the US, and they also said that around 90 percent of the device sold were from manufacturers Samsung and HTC.
Sprint continues to introduce 4G LTE to more cities as we maintain our aggressive momentum in delivering a top-tier network experience for customers.
Dan Hesse, chief executive officer at Sprint, shared a notable LTE milestone today while speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communicopia Conference in New York. Sprint now has sold 1 million LTE devices and the number continues to grow.
Sprint also said that the 1 million devices that they have announced does not include Apple’s new iPhone 5 which recently became available to pre-order on Sprints network.
