We first saw the Sony Single Lens Display module back at CES in January, the device is designed to be attached to your glasses or sunglasses and provides a heads up display.
Sony has now released a demo video of their Sony Single Lens display showing how the device works and what you will see whilst using it, have a look at the video below.
The display module is equipped with a 0.23 inch, high-resolution color OLED micro display that is among the smallest in the world. The module has a resolution of 640 x 400 pixels, with a luminance of 800 nits and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Combined with a micro-optical unit that is optimized for the OLED, this module enables high-quality image projection in any lighting conditions, ranging from sunny outdoor environments to usage in dark rooms inside.
