Sony announced a range of new devices at their IFA press event yesterday, one of those was the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium which is the worlds first smartphone to come with a 4K display.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a 5.5 inch display with a 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, the display has a massive 806 pixels per inch.
The device is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and it also comes with 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of built in storage, the handset also comes with a microSD card slot which supports up to 200GB cards.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium include Sony’s new 23 megapixel Exmor RS sensor which comes with Hybrid Auto Focus that is said to be extremely fast, there is also up to 8x digital zoom.
On the front of the handset there is a 5 megapixel Sony Exmor R sensor which is Full HD capable, the device also comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.
As with previous Xperia smartphones, the new Z5 Premium is designed to be both dust and waterproof and it comes with an IP65 and IP68 rating and it will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
