Sony recently dropped the price of their PlayStation 4 console in Japan and now the company has announced a price drop in the US.
From tomorrow, the 9th of October, the Sony PlayStation 4 will retail for $349.99 in the US, the previous price of the console was $399.99.
Sony also announced that they will be dropping the price of the console in Canada from tomorrow, the PS4 will now cost $429.99 CAD in Canada.
As well as dropping the price of the stand alone PS4 console, Sony also reduced the price of a range of its PlayStation 4 Bundles, you can see the old and new prices below.
Sony’s PS4 has been dominating the console charts since it launched, it has managed to outsell Microsoft’s Xbox One console and this new lower price is bound to help it keep the top spot.

As Sony have now reduced the price of the console in Japan, the US and Canada, we suspect we will see some more price drops before the holiday shopping season in some more countries, as soon as we get some details on which country is next, we will let you guys know.
