Sony has announced a new accessory for Android smartphones and tablets, the Sony Micro USB flash drive, which can be connected to your Android smartphone or tablet.
The Sony Micro USB flash drive connects to your android device via a micro USB port, it also comes with a free app which is available to download from Google Play, and it features a built in full sized USB port, so you can also hook it up to your computer.
“Consumers want to let a friend see the photo they just took or share a video easily with as few steps as possible,” said Viviano Cantu, director of consumer media marketing, Sony Electronics. “These new drives combine convenience, peace of mind and performance and are perfect for mobile multi-tasking.”
The Sony Micro USB flash drive is compatible with Android smartphones and tablets that are running Android 4.0.3 to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it will be available in a range of sizes.
This new smartphone and tablet USB drive will launch in January, prices will start at $19.99 for the 8GB model, $29.99 for a 16GB model and $62.99 for a 32GB model, you can find out more details over at Sony at the link below.
