The Sony Honami is expected to be announced at IFA next month, we have already seen some of the handsets features and apps, and now the guys over at the XDA developers have created a custom ROM for the Sony Xperia Z based on the Honami for the Xperia Z.
The video below shows the custom ROM running on the Sony Xperia Z, and it gives us a quick look at what some of the Sony Honami features may look like.
The Sony Honami is rumored to feature a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
The handset will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will feature 20 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera on the back, plus a front facing 2 megapixel Sony Exmor R camera.
Other rumored specifications on the Sony Honami will include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot that can take up to 64GB cards.
