SolidRun has unveiled a new addition to their range of development boards this week with the unveiling of the new SolidRun ClearFog Pro, which is powered by a Marvell Armada A380/A388 processor.
The development board is also equipped with a dedicated Ethernet port together with a 6-port Ethernet switch and support for USB, mSATA storage. The processor can be supported by up to 1 GB of RAM and are also options to add an extra SD card slot for more storage if required.
Other features include mikroBUS-compatible GPIO headers and SolidRun has also explained that a more affordable version of the development board will be available very soon called the ClearFog Base although no prices have been announced as yet.
Introducing the ClearFog Pro, a flexible platform which harnesses the full potential and robust processing power of the ARMADA SoC – providing a modular powerful board with endless possibilities. With the ARMADA processor at its core, the ClearFog Pro offers both optimal modulation and fast processing speeds, cutting development costs, TTM and simplifying production process.
The Pro model which has been launched today is now available to purchase directly from the SolidRun website priced at $170 and measures 8.9 x 4 inches in size. A power adapter is also available to purchase priced of $10 and an aluminium case is also available priced at $50.
