Asante based in Fremont California has this week unveiled a piece of hardware they have created that allows you to create a music synchronise light show using a companion application on your smartphone that allows you to tap to beats of your music.

The developers of TapTap explain a little more about its inspiration features and functionality :
TapTap is a smart-device-controlled music light show creator, which provides an intuitive way to create your own music synchronized light show without writing any code. TapTap is designed for EVERYONE. There are 10 songs with ready-to-play music light shows that are pre-loaded. Just plug in your light strings to TapTap, connect it to your home WiFi network and press the play button on your smart device. You can enjoy the music light show immediately.
Want something unique? No problem! TapTap is highly customizable and easy to use. With the TapTap app, you can edit the light show simply by tapping on the screen. Want to use your own music? You can upload your own music to create a stunning music and light show.
TapTap works with the TapTap app. Use the free TapTap app to create a show and upload to your personal folder on TapTap cloud. TapTap will connect to your personal folder wirelessly through the WiFi connection. TapTap can reach up to 115 feet, so you can place TapTap almost anywhere in your house, indoors or outdoors.
