I am not quite sure why companies decide to cover gadgets in crystals and diamonds, last week we saw a beautiful Olympus Pen E-P1 ruined by Swarovski Crystals, now we have a netbook which will set you back $3,000.
So what do you get for your $3,000 apart from a bunch of shiny crystals? The Smartbook AG Zenid CG Crystal comes with a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, built in WiFi and a 10 inch screen.
Not exactly the best specifications, you would expect slightly more for $3,000, luckily only 20 of these Smartbook AG Zenid CG Crystal netbooks will be produced.
I seriously cant believe that they expect people to pay this sort of money for a netbook with poor specifications, just because they have stuck a few crystals on it.
