EA has this week announced that they will be launching a SimCity Mac version on June 11th 2013, and if you have already purchased the PC version of the game you will automatically get a fee Mac version to enjoy as well.
The offer also works vice-versa as well so if you purchase a SimCity Mac version of the game you will also automatically receive a PC copy to enjoy.
The SimCity Mac version is now available to pre-order from Origin as a download only version, but Standard and Digital Deluxe are also available as SimCity Mac versions.
EA has also announced that the SimCity Mac game will also support cross platform playing, wallowing you to enjoy games between PC and Mac systems. The SimCity Mac version has been created as a native version that has been optimised for Mac OS, and not a port of the PC SimCity.
To Play SimCity Mac you will require a Mac System running Apple’s Lion OSX 10.7.5 and a Core 2 processor installed, and Retina display support might become available at a later date says EA.
