Silk is a new Smart LED bulb by a company called Saffron and it is designed to provide the right type of light for you at different times of the day.
According to the creators of the Silk Smart LED bulb we need different types of light at different time of the day, the Silk is designed to provide the exact type of light that your internal body clock needs throughout the day, have a look at the video below.
“With other smart bulbs you’re trapped into having your phone with you all of the time but that’s not realistic. We added our nClick technology so you can set the mood even when you’re chilling in your bath robe,” said CEO of Sewell Direct (parent company of Saffron) Preston Wily.
The nClick technology allows users to change the settings on their bulbs with a flick (or two) of their existing light switch. These settings require no extra wiring or installation and can be customized to the user’s preference
The creators of the Silk by Saffron Smart Bulb are trying to raise $100,000 to put the bulb into production, prices will start at $99 and for this you get three Silks bulbs and one Silk Bridge, you can find out more information at the link below.
