If you haven’t yet got your hands on the Shelby GT350 Mustang from Ford, you still have a chance. Ford has announced that it will continue producing the GT350 for the 2018 model year. The car will carry over with no functional changes and the only thing setting the 2018 model year apart from the 2017 is the addition of three new colors.
The 2018 colors that are added include Orange Fury, Kona Blue, and Lead Foot Gray. The car will continue with the 5.2L V8 that makes 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. Both the GT350 and the GT350R will be available for 2018.
Standard equipment includes oil and transmission coolers, active diff coolers, and vented Brembo brakes. The calipers are 6-piston units with 15.5-inch vented rotors front. Both cars also get magneride damping. Electronics package will be offered for both cars with nav, 6-speaker audio, and Sync3. Convenience package will be offered on the GT350 replacing Recaro seats with six-way power heated and cooled sport seats with suede inserts.Filed Under: Auto News
