If you find charging your smartwatch inconvenient you may be interested in a new self-charging smartwatch which has been created by Sequent a timepiece manufacturer based in Switzerland.
The Sequent smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices is the world’s first to be equipped with a kinetic self-charging system. Sequent this week launched via Kickstarter to raise the funds required to go into production. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the new kinetic smartwatch and its companion smartphone application.
SEQUENT has not only solved a major problem of the smart watch industry, which suffers from insufficient battery supply for its devices, but it also generates 100% clean energy. The watch features the newest generation of Heart Rate sensor, GPS tracking and notification system, which can connect by Bluetooth to our proprietary Biofeedback health & sport app.
Based on a traditional Swiss automatic watch movement, we have developed and patented the world’s first kinetic self-charging battery system, transforming kinetic energy into electrical energy to power the Sequent smart watch. Therefore, the great news is that NO MORE ADDITIONAL CHARGING from socket-outlets or coin cell batteries is required.
