Guillaume Rolland has designed a new type of alarm clock called the SensorWake, that as the name suggests uses your senses to wake you up, offering smells to wake you from your slumber.
SensorWake is being marketed as the world’s first olfactory alarm clock, created to make your mornings a little more enjoyable by providing the smell of your favourite scent, whether that be peaches or the smell of money.
Users are able to choose from a wide assortment of scents, such as coffee, croissants and the ocean to name a few. Watch the video below to learn more.
“Setting your Sensorwake is as easy as setting your espresso machine, and changing out the scents is even faster. All this is brought to you by Guillaume Rolland, an 18-year-old French entrepreneur with a vision of making everyone wake up happy!
Even Google recognizes SensorWake’s potential, awarding it as one of the top 15 inventions “that can change the world” at the 2014 Google Science Fair.”
The SensorWake project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise Kickstarter €50,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
So if you think SensorWake is something your mornings could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge from €60 and help SensorWake become a reality.
