Anyone who likes exploring underneath the waves may be interested in a new personal water jet propulsion system which has been created and launched via Kickstarter this week.
The development team behind Scubalec are looking to raise €10,000 over the next 30 days to help take their unique wrist-worn water jet propulsion system into manufacture.
Watch the video below to learn more about its design, features and functionality. With pledges available from just €277 for early bird backers, the development team hope to start shipping during June 2017 if all goes to plan.
Put your Scubalec on and enjoy the freedom under water. A small personal jet drive for your hand – easy to use and handy. Like a pedelec supports cyclist with permanent tailwind, Scubalec supports you with additional under water boost on demand.
Scubalec is the first personal underwater jet drive for your arm especially for snorkelers. Two electric jet drive engines and a battery mounted on an arm base plate – handy and easy to use. Scubalec supports you with extra velocity on your command. Perfect for those who loves to snorkel.
With Scubalec we created a small simple device which helps you to make diving easier and brings fun. It extends your dive time by consuming less oxygen – perfect for snorkeling.
