The unique Scribit drawing robot has been created to enable users to draw any content sourced from the web and updated in real time. Scribit as this week launched via Kickstarter and is now available to back with earlybird pledges available from $199 or roughly £149. If all goes well and the campaign is successful and manufacturing runs smoothly worldwide shipping is expected to commence during December 2018. Created by MIT Prof Carlo Ratti the small writing robot is capable of drawing images and text on any vertical surface.

“A restaurant can post the day’s menu on its wall, professionals can support their focus by writing new motivational sentences every day, or someone who loves art can draw on a Van Gogh — or their own drawings – onto their bedroom wall.” For more information, full specifications and a complete list of all available pledges jump over to the Kickstarter crowdfunding website by following the link below. Scribit uses similar technology used by the Maslow CNC machine, which also launched via Kickstarter and successfully raised over $300,000.
