Sapphire have released a new graphics card, the Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 which is based upon the ATI HD 5970 chipset, and it has now claimed the top spot as the worlds fastest graphics card.
With a 3DMark Vantage score of 22,000, and an overclocked ATI GPU, the Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 runs at 850MHz, and it comes with 4GB of GDDR5 RAM with a clock speed of 1,200MHz.
As you can see from the photo it needs some serious cooling and comes with three separate fans and a giant heat sink to make sure it runs nice and cool.
The Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 HD features dual link DVI and a mini DisplayPort, there is no HDMI connection. There are no details on pricing or release date as yet but you can expect this to be one expensive graphics card.
