SanDisk has rolled out a new MP3 player that is aimed at athletes and active people. There are a lot of people out there that have smartphones, but fear damaging the smartphone while working out and prefer to use a smaller MP3 player that is cheaper to replace. This is where the SanDisk Clip Sport MP3 player comes in.
The Clip Sport comes in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities. It is available now in the US for $39.99 to $69.99 depending on the version you choose. The device gets its name from a clip on the back that attaches it to clothes. SanDisk fits the device with a 1.44-inch color screen with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. The MP3 player supports multiple file formats including MP3 and AAC audio file formats, along with Audible (DRM only), FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, and WMA (no DRM) files.
SanDisk also gave the MP3 player a FM tuner allowing you to listen to your favorite local stations while you work out. The internal battery is good for up to 25 hours of audio playback on a single charge. It is available in several colors including black, pink, green, red, yellow, and blue.
