When the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones were announced Samsung also launched their new voice activated assistant called Bixby.
Bixby only comes on the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus at the moment, although it is possible to get some features of Bixby running on older devices.
Developer takerhbk from the XDA developers has managed to get Bixby running on some older devices and has provided information on how you can do this yourself, not all of the features are working, but you can find out more details over at the XDA Developers.
It apparently only works on some Samsung devices that are running Android 7.0 Nougat and above and you will need to replace your launcher with the S8 Launcher to get it working.
Samsung has not reveled as yet on when they will officially be bringing Bixby to their older devices, although this is something that is expected to happen some time in the future.
