Samsung has seen high demand for its new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones and orders of the new handsets are currently said to be higher than Samsung’s supply of the devices.
Now Samsung has decided to open a new factory to produce its new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge smartphones in order to meet the demand for the devices.
According to a recent report the new Samsung factory is known as the A3 production line and this new factory will allow Samsung to manufacture two and a half times as many displays for the handset as their current production facilities.
Samsung will now be capable of making around 5 million display a month for their new Galaxy S6 smartphones, their previous production line was capable of making 2 million displays.
Samsung are expected to sell a record number of their new smartphones and it will be interesting to see how long it takes them to meet demand for their new devices.
