Yesterday we heard a rumor that the new Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone may launch before the end of the year, Samsung were apparently doing this to combat sales of Apple’s new iPhones which are expected in September.
Now Samsung has denied that their new Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone will be launching this year and they have said that it will launch within the same time frame as previous ‘S’ handsets.
The company remains committed to launching products in pre-determined launch windows, which includes the S series.
So according to Samsung the device will be launching next year, although the company would want to deny that they are launching the handset early, as it may hurt sales of their Galaxy S6 handsets.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to come with a 5.1 or 5.2 inch display with an Ultra HD 4K resolution, Samsung are also expected to use a new processor in the device and it is expected to feature more RAM than the current devices.
The Galaxy S7 is rumored to be one of the first devices to come with Iris recognition, which would be used for similar functions as fingerprint sensors in existing devices. As soon as we get some more details about the new S7, including a launch date and some specifications for the device, we will let you guys know.
