There have been a number of reports of issues with the battery on Samsung’s Galaxy S4 smartphone, from batteries overheating to other issues.
Now Samsung has announced that they will replace any batteries on their Galaxy S4 handset that their customers are having problems with, and you can get your batter replaced by taking your device to a Samsung Electronics service centre.
“We ask all affected customers to please visit their nearest Samsung Electronics service centre, where they can receive a replacement battery for free of charge. We remain committed to providing the best possible user experience for our customers.”
According to a recent report by Trusted Reviews, some mobile carrier have experienced return rates of up to 30 percent on the Samsung Galaxy S4 because of the battery problems.
If you have a problem with the battery on your Samsung Galaxy S4 you can either take the device back to the retailer it was purchased from, and see if they are offering the replacement batteries, or take it to the Samsung service centre.
