Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets have been considerably more popular than their Galaxy S5 handset, although according to a recent report, sales of the devices are lower than Samsung had expected.
Samsung are now looking to their new Galaxy Note 5 smartphone to boost their smartphones sales, the handset is expected to launch some time in either August or September.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to take some of its design cues from their Galaxy S6 range and Samsung are said to be using premium materials for their new handset.
The display on the new Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to measure 5.7 inches and make come with a 4K Ultra HD resolution. The company will also introduce a new processor with the Note 5, the Exynos 7422.
The new Samsung Exynos 7422 processor is rumored to feature the CPU, GPU, RAM and an LTE Modem in one chip, the handset will also apparently come with 4GB of RAM and a choice of storage options up to 128GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be one of the first Android smartphones to come with a USB Type-C connector, the device will also comewith an 8 megapixel front facing camera and a 20 megapixel rear camera, the device may also be one of the first handsets to feature Android M.
The exact release date of the new Note 5 is not known as yet, we previously heard rumors that it may be made official in August and could go on sale in either late August or early September.
