Samsung had a great year in 2012 with a number if Samsung devices being extremely popular last year, and now it would appear that Samsung ha big plans for 2013, according to a recent report from the Korea Times.
Samsung is expecting to sell a total of 510 million mobile phones in 2013, and out of these 510 million, around 390 million will be smartphones and the remaining 120 million will be budget and feature phones.
Samsung has done very well with its range of Galaxy smartphones, which run Google’s Android OS, and the company is expected to release a number of new Galaxy devices this year.
As well as the Android powered Galaxy devices, Samsung also has some new smartphones in the works that will run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8, plus devices that will run the open source OS Tizen.
