The Samsung Gear S2 is only compatible with devices running Google’s Android Wear at the moment, although the device actually runs Samsung’s own Tizen OS.
We have heard rumors in the past that Samsung may brings support for Apple’s iPhone to the Gear S2 and now according to a recent report, this could land before the end of the year.
Samsung are apparently working on an app for the iPhone that would allow them to use the Gear S2 with their handset, this app would allow you to set up and customize the Samsung smartwatch with iOS devices.
Not all features of the Samsung Gear S2 will be available to iPhone users when the app launched, things like Samsung Pay will still require a Gear S2 and an Android device, as soon as we get some more information on when Samsung will be adding iPhone support to their latest smartwatch, we will let you guys know.
