There has been evidence that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with two different processor options, a Samsung Exynos 8990 and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
According to a recent report, Samsung will be targeting the US and China with their new Samsung Galaxy S7 handset with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820.
Samsung will apparently launch the Exynos powered version of the Galaxy S7 in Europe, South Korea and Southeast Asia.
The last thing we heard about the handset is that Samsung may launch the device in February, we had previously expected it to launch in March.
There will be two versions of the new Samsung Galaxy S7, one with a flat display, the Galaxy S7 and one with a curved display, the Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung may also launch a larger S7 Edge+ later in the year.
We can also expect the cameras on Samsung’s new flagship smartphone to get an update, we could possibly see an 8 megapixel camera on the front and a 20 megapixel camera on the back. The handset is expected to launch with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As soon as we get some more details about Samsung’s new flagship smartphone range, including some pictures of the device and a full list of specifications, we will let you guys know.
