We have already seen evidence of two different versions of the Samsung Galaxy S7 in some benchmarks, one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the other with a Samsung Exynos 8990 processor.
Now we have details on the two variants of the Samsung Galaxy S7, one with come with the model number SM-G930 and the other the model number SM-G935.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 with the model number SM-G930 will apparently be like the Galaxy S6 with a flat display. The Galaxy S7 with the model number SM-G935 will be similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge and will feature a dual edge curved display.
Samsung will launch their new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets in the US, Europe, Canada, Korea and China, the handsets are also expected to be made available in other countries as well.
In the US the devices will be made available with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, MetroPCS and AIO wirelss, in Canada the devices will be made available with Bell Mobility.
The handsets will launch in South Kores with SKTElecom, LG Uplus and KT, as yet there are no details on which European carriers will have the devices.
As we have seen the Galaxy S7 with different processors, the two handsets are expected to come with different processors in different regions, some will get the Snapdragon 820 other the Exynos 8990.
This is what Samsung did in the past, although they stopped this with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and used their own processor, the Exynos 7420 due to reported heat issues with the Snapdragon 810.
As yet there are no details on other specifications on these new Galaxy S7 handsets, as soon as we get some more details, plus some actual photos of the handsets and information on the launch date, we will let you guys know.
