The majority of the new smartphones that have been announced recently come with the new USB Type-C port, so it is hardly a surprise to learn that the new Samsung Galaxy S7 will also feature this new connector.
We have been hearing a number of rumors about the Galaxy S7 over the last few weeks, the latest one was that the handset would come with Force Touch technology in the form of ClearForce.
The new Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to be made available in two different models, one with a flat display like the Galaxy S6 and the other with a curved display like the S6 Edge. There are also rumors of three different processors for each handset, each one being launched in different regions.
One processor will be the new Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm, these devices will apparently launch in the US and China, another processor will be a new Samsung Exynos 8990, this is headed to Europe, Japan and South Korea.
The final rumored processor for the new Galaxy S7 is the Exynos 7422, this is apparently headed to India. Samsung normally releases its new smartphones in March, the devices are normally made official at MWC in February, although the could come a little earlier this year as they are rumored to actually launch in February.
As soon as we get some more details about the new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge handsets, including some photos of the devices and a launch date, we will let you guys know.
