The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge do not come with a microSD card slot, this may change with next years Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
We have heard a range of specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge and now according to a recent report, Samsung may bring back expandable storage to these new smartphones.
The new Samsung smartphones are expected to come with different processors in different regions and will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and the Samsung Exynos 8990 processor.
There are reports that the Galaxy S7 will come with a 5.2 inch display with a possible resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, there have also been rumors about another version of the handset with a 4k display.
The Galaxy S7 Edge will apparently come with a larger 5.7 inch display, it is not clear what resolution this handset will feature although we would at least expect it to be a Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Samsung will also introduce their new BRITECELL camera with their new S7 smartphones and the handsets may also come with USB Type-C.
We have heard a number of rumors that the handsets will be launched earlier than normal and may be made official some time in January and then hit the stores in February.
As soon as we get some more details about Samsung;s new flagship smartphone, including some actual photos of the handsets, we will let you guys know.
