Samsung Pay has been available in the US since last year and now it looks like it is going to launch in the UK shortly with the Samsung Galaxy S7.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 And Galaxy S7 Edge will be made official at Mobile World Congress on the 21st of February, the handset will go on sale in the UK some time in March.
Samsung has now confirmed that Samsung Pay is coming to the UK and Spain ‘very soon’ the company will provide more details of the release date of their mobile payment system in the UK at Mobile World Congress later this month.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will come with a 5.1 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the S7 Edge will have a curved glass display like the S6 Edge.
Samsung will use different processors in different countries, both of the handsets will either feature a Samsung Exynos 8990 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and both devices will come with 4GB of RAM.
Storage is said to come with two options, 32GB and 64GB and there will also be a microSD card slot for expansion. The S7 is rumored to come with a 3000 mAh battery and the S7 Edge a 3600 mAh battery, these will give both devices up to two days of usage between charges.
Both the S7 and S7 Edge will have the same cameras, the front camera will come with 5 megapixel and the rear camera will use Samsung’s new BRITECELL image sensor and will come with 12 megapixels, both handsets will feature Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
