We have been hearing a number of rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone recently, the handset is expected to launch early next year.
When the Galaxy S6 launched, there were three models of the handset announced, two with a curved display, the S6 Edge and S6 Edge+ and the standard S6 model.
Now according to a recent report, Samsung will only launch one ‘Edge’ model next year rather than two like it did with the S6.
This would mean that Samsung would essentially offer two versions of their new Samsung Galaxy S7 handset, one with a flat display, the other with a curved display.
Last week we heard that there would be three different versions of the S7, this is in terms of processors, rather than the design of the handset.
One model which will launch in China and the US will come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, another model for Europe, Japan and South Korea will come with a Samsung Exynos 7990 processor and the final model, which is said to have an Exynos 7422 will launch in India.
Previous rumors have suggested that the new Galaxy S7 will launch earlier than normal next year, the handset is said to launch some time in February.
We are looking forward to finding out some more details on Samsung’s new flagship Android smartphone, this could be the company’s first Android Marshmallow handset, as soon as we get some more information on the device, we will let you guys know.
