The new Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with some impressive features and specifications, and now we have a hands-on video of the Galaxy S4, courtesy of the guys over at Phandroid, which gives us a good look at Samsung’s new flagship Android smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 features Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device will use different processors depending on the country.
Processor Variants
Processing on the Samsung Galaxy S4 will either be provided by a quad-core 1.9GHz processor from Qualcomm or an 8-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor with a clock speed of 1.6GHz. There are no details as yet on which regions will get the different processors. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 is known for its robust performance and efficiency, making it ideal for high-demand applications and gaming. On the other hand, the Exynos 5 Octa is designed to offer a balance between performance and power efficiency, utilizing ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture to switch between high-power and low-power cores as needed.
Additional Features and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is packed with a variety of features that make it stand out in the crowded smartphone market. It includes a 13-megapixel rear camera capable of shooting high-quality photos and videos, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The camera software comes with several innovative features such as Dual Shot, which allows you to use both cameras simultaneously, and Drama Shot, which can capture a sequence of photos of a moving object and merge them into a single frame.
The device also supports 4G LTE connectivity, ensuring fast internet speeds for browsing, streaming, and downloading. It comes with 2GB of RAM and offers three storage options: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, all of which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
