Teardowns are often not too far behind the launch of a new smartphone or other gadget. The Samsung Galaxy S hasn’t been on the market too long and the obligatory teardown has now been performed.
The cool thing is that rather than simply tearing the phone up and showing us the pics of the thing, they are showing how to put the phone back together again. I still would not recommend you try to tear it down since this will void the warranty.
Still, if you damage your device outside the warranty coverage, the tear down and rebuild of the device will give you a good idea of how to fix whatever might go wrong. That is assuming you can determine what part is at fault.
