When the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launched, Samsung also launched the Galaxy Note Edge, we were expecting them to do the same thing with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Now it would appear that Samsung may not launch an Edge variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 this year and we will only see one new device in their Note range.
There have been rumors that Samsung will launch a larger version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, so this could one one possible reason that they have decided not to launch a Galaxy Note 5 Edge handset.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to come with a 5.7 or 5.8 inch display with a possible 4K Ultra HD resolution, the handset is also expected to be powered by a new Samsung Exynos 7422 processor.
Other rumored specifications on the handset include 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and an 8 megapixel front camera plus a 20 megapixel rear camera.
The last thing we heard about the release date of the new Note 5 was that it would be some time in August, as soon as we get some more details on the handset, we will let you guys know.
